Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. Omni Links uses cookies where they are needed for authentication, session refresh, workspace selection, and secure product operation.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the operation of our platform. They enable core functionality such as Supabase authentication, session management, protected dashboard routes, and secure workspace access. Without these cookies, signed-in product areas cannot function properly.

CookiePurposeDuration

2.2 Optional Or Provider Cookies

The current product does not require non-essential analytics or advertising cookies for public link-click tracking. Optional providers, embedded media, or future analytics tools may set their own cookies when enabled in production or when visitors interact with their surfaces.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies may be set by third-party services used by Omni Links or by content embedded in customer bio pages. These include:

  • Supabase: Authentication cookies for sign-in sessions and secure session refresh.
  • Stripe: Payment processing cookies when you use Stripe checkout, billing portal, invoices, or hosted payment pages.
  • YouTube and Vimeo: Embedded video providers may set cookies or similar technologies when a public bio page loads embedded media.

Each provider has its own cookie and privacy policies. Review those policies for more information about how they process data.

4. How to Manage Cookies

You have several options for managing cookies:

  • Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, delete cookies, or alert you when a cookie is being placed. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Service.
  • Sign Out: Signing out ends the active product session. Browser-level cookie clearing can remove remaining local session cookies.
  • Provider Controls: Stripe, Supabase, YouTube, and Vimeo may provide their own cookie or privacy controls for their hosted surfaces.

5. Cookie-Less Tracking for Link Clicks

When end users click on links created through Omni Links, we do not place cookies on the clicker's device for click analytics. Click analytics are collected using server-side processing, which captures metadata such as the referring URL, geographic region derived from request headers, device type, and browser. Raw IP addresses are not stored for analytics.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our business practices. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We recommend checking this page periodically for the latest information on our cookie practices.
